| FIXTURES AXD ARRAXGEMEXTS. TWEXTY CASES FOR THE CRIMIXAL I SESSIONS. The Auckland Supreme Court criminal jscfsiona will commence on Monday at 11 o'clock, before Mr. Justice Cooper. There are 20 prisoners for trial. Mr. Justice Stringer, who was to have taken the criminal cases, but who is detained by industrial troubles at Lyttelton, is expected to arrive during the week, and will continue the list. Air. Justice Cooper will take banco work next week, and will sit in chambers at 10.30 on Tuesday morning to arrange the order of banco business. The compensation claim brought against the Auckland City Council in respect of the taking over of Gillies Park will be heard by Mr. Justice Cooper on [February 10th, iit 10.30. The plaintiffs in the case are Arthur William Gillies, Hav.ora. farmer, Robert Craig Gillies, of Hakatoramea, sheep farmer, and Harry Thomas Gillies, solicitor, of Hamilton, and the defendants the Mayor, councillors, and citizens of Auckland. The civil sessions of the Court commence on February 13th. It is announced that the Taumarunui election petition will be heard by Mr. Justice Coopor and Mr. Justice Chapman. The date of the heading has not yet been fixed, but. the proceedings will be at Taumarunui. *
