Mr. Masscy said he would convey the views of the deputation tv Parliament. He could not predict what the Tesult of the first division on the second reading of the Licensing Mill would be. Members who represented the prohibition point, of view considered the second reading would be carried easily, the other side thought there -was no chance of such a result. Taking the average of the (.wo Statements, he came to the conclusion that the division would be very close indeed.
