WRECKED LINER.

BOTTOM RIPPED OUT. THREE PASSENGERS KILLED. LONDON, June 30. The liner California, from New Y r ork to Glasgow, ran ashore in a dense fog on Tory Island, north of Ireland. She missed her course, and struck the rocks, her bottom being ripped open from the foremast forward. It is unlikely she can be salved. A man. a woman, and a child were killed during the landing. The islanders built huge bonfires, thus guiding the passengers ashore.
