ELDERLY MAN'S DEATH.
An inquest was held at tiie City i Morgue, this morning by Mr. F.V. Fra/.ev. S.M.. on the body orT.obrrl Brown, oged 72. who was found dead in bed at a boarding house in Grry Street on Thursday night,. Dr. 1". W. King stated that he Lad performed a poot-mortc-m examination by direction of the coroner. There were no external marks of violence. The lungs 'were congested and the cavity of the chost '.*"'-- full <>J fluid—-there must have lioen at least two quarts. This showed that the deceased had been .suffering from lung trouble and pleurisy. The heart, liver and kidneyt- were also affected. The specific cause of death was failure of the heart. Kate Brown identified the -bodr as thai of her fatber. She bad last Veen I hiiu alive about nine an«nths ago. Tiie coroner found tha., death was dinto failure of the heart suiicrvciiing on pleurisy.
