'PROPOSED HUNTLY LOAN.
At n cfffcial meeting of the Town Board. Mr. I- B. 'Harris, juii.. in the chair, it was decided to submit the question erf rai-ing a loan of £6.000 for proposeJ electric lighting to a poll c>f the ratepayer* early ia July. The chairman stated" that the amount could probably be borrowed ar 5J per cent, and it ivas decided to endeavour to effect an ar-rangeiD-orit with the Bank of New Zealand, the security being- the wh'.fh thn Board would have to :rc=;ie.
