MANUKAU LICENSES.
The annual meeting of the Alamikau Licensing Committee was held at the Courthouse, Onehunga, at noon to-day, Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M., presiding. There wcTe also present Messrs. D. Neilson, J. Howe. J. Brady. W. 11. Gavin, and E. Tansley, Sergeant Rogers represented the police. The following licenses were granted: Cornelius iMcManus, Star Hotel. Otahuhu; Geo. V. Harris, Panmure Hotel. 'Panmure; Bernard G-OTdon. Prince Albert Hotel, Onehunga; Mark Dumbleton, Railway Terminus Hotel. Onehunga. Renewals: Edward Keating, Exchange H'ote!, Princes Street, Onehunga; Thomas Sands, iManiikau Hotel, Queen Street, Onehunga; Jt. S. Dingle. Hibernian Hotel, Queen Street, On.'hunga: Frank Burns, lEllerelie Hotel, Ellerslie: Wm. J. Willia-mB, Criterion Hotel, Otaliuhu. (Favourable reports were presented by the police npon all the hotels in the district. The Aufkland Trotting Club applied for and obtained permission to sell the privileges for the sale of liquor at the Trotting Club's meeting.
