He asserted that he had had no drink •wha.tever yesterday, but was subject to taking tits. The oilieer who arrested him said that at flr&t he suspected that the inaji had lead a lit, but on choser observation he came to the conclusion that the man was drunk. John MoTriespy (+4), who wns arrested on Saturday, an a first offender, and let out on ba.il, but was caught drunk ojrnin on Sunday, was fined 10/. William l.lack (24) was" also fined 10/. and Joseph J. Bairett (46). for getting drunk when prohibited, was fined 40/. in default seven days', imprisonment. Henry J.
