In the Auckland Supreme Court today Mt. R. A. Singer made an application arising out of the recent conviction of a man named Harold Spencer Caulkin, charged with the theft of ten rings •belonging to Nurse and Co., his employers. Appearing for (Nurse and Co.. Mr. Singer mentioned that tlre pawnbrokers, through the police, had asked to be reimbursed, and he, therefore, applied for the rings to be returned to Nurse and Co.
