At the Scene of the Train Wreck.
Our photographs, taken hy the speanl photographer of the "Auckland Star," are the tirst secured of the disa«t.ruus accident yesterday morning on the Alajn Trunk line. He proceeded from town by motor-car, and was on the tscentf almost simultaneous with the appearance of the breakdown gang, that was hurried forward lo Wbangamarinu. Some of lhe snapshots, it will be noticed, were taken before the railway men had got to work: others after operations had proceeded for some time. 1. ( lenrmg the debris from tin- line. 2.
