KA9T TOMBS ROBBED. ABEEST OF THE GANG. (Receive.! 10.20 a.m.) PAKIS, April 1. Three men and a woman hare been trrarted on a chargn of despoiling 70 Vaults in ihe Pere La Chaise Cemetery of chalices, pyies, and articles ef value. Bome«f the articles hare been recovered in antiquarian chops. The same gang is SDspected of despoiling one tomb as far back as 1911, Thirty-six keepers for many weeks maintained a niglitly vigil, but* without success. Detectives were thereupon posted in wineshops in the vicinity, where they orerheard a conversation between tv/o of th« gang. One was followed, and was seen making ehaJk marks on certain ienh». Subsequently, irhen en attempt Ws made to open theee tombs, three nen &nd a woman were arrested.
