ATHANASIAN CREED.

NEED FOR REVISION. (Received 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, March 4. The Rev. Emery Barnes, chaplain of Peterhousc. Cambridge. accuses the Epper House of the Canterbury Convocation with paltering with the truth in retaining the damnatory clauses of the Athanasian Creed. He protests against the House ordering the recitation of the revised translation once a year. This Mr Barnes regards as an opportunity which the. ConVocation does not dare to face by admitting that the damnatory clauses contain a direct untruth.
