KTHTPAKA COTTAGE DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHASGAEja, Thursday. A four-roomed house, with contents, at Kiripafca, belonging to Mr R_ Wedge, •was destroyed by fire this, morning. The' building was insured for f75;. and furniture lor £25 in Nor»vich Union Office^ MKE AT MATAPUXA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TACTMAKUNUI, Thursday. A £re occurred at 2 a.m. on Wednesday which destroyed the sawmill of the Pukeweka Timber Company at itatapuna. The cause of. the fire ie not ■known, 4rat there wirll not be any stoppage of work by the as. the ■mill deetroyed wae the No. 1, and orders ■will 'be executed .from No. 2 mill, which je to be worked -douWe ehift. A fire broke put .•Qγ! outbuildings, either a bakehouse ot eartehed, -attached to Naples store at P"uk€raU) at 2.30 this morning. The store and other building? "were completely destroyed. About :£IOO worth of goods was saved. The stock is insured in the Australian .'Alliance for £750, but the loss is consideraMy over this amount. The buildings are owned by Mr. Herron.
