BOWING. WEST END .CLUB. A set. of trial fours will be held on the 24th inst for trophies donated by Mr P. Ross (club member). . Entries are coming In freely, and, judging by the interest taken t{y members, some good racing ought to eventuate. Entries will close with the, secretary on Monday, the 10th, at 8 p.m. Although the club has always been represented in all tour-oar events at the regattas, not having a double scull racer, they have been unable to compete in that class, so the committee has decided to obtain a .new boat for this purpose, and, in order to raise funds, a pictureevening for February 12 has been ar ranged. With the holidays over, the regatta crews have recommenced training. Special interest is taken in the newlyformed senior crew, which will contest the N.Z. championship at Mercer on the 20th Inst.
