ARRIVAL OF THE MANUKA.
A GOOD PASSAGE. "WTTH AMATEUR CREW. No lees ih-an five captains were included in the crew of the Inion Company's steamer Manuka, which arrived at Auckland from Sydney direct in the eairly -hours of "this morning. The vessel made a fast passage from the Australian part, the favourable weather conditions essential io good progress being with -the Manuka all the way. There were also aboard five New Zealand cadets from the Royal Military College of Drmtroou. These young men offered to help in any way possible, and at times their assistance was asked for the stokehold. There -were also a number of students from other Australian colleges, and ihey also helped in various positions aboard the chip. The Manuka is to 6ail from Auckland for Sydney on the return passage at 8 o'clock to-rriffht, and will carry Australian mail.
