RESCUED FROM WHITE SLAVERY.
Josephine McLoughlln, aged 14, missing for a week, and for whom the New York police had been asked to search, was rescued on October 31st from two alleged traliickers in women who had kept her prisoner since the night of her disappear-
A note imploring aid was written by the girl and pushed through the shutters of a window. It fluttered down before the feet of a citizen, who notified the police. A spectacular raid of the place followed, and two prisoners were taken.
