A WIDOW'S CLAIM.
COMPENSATION FOR HUSBAND'S DEATH. (By TelegT.-iph. —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In the Arbitration Court to-day. Edith Birss. of t'hristchureb, claimed "compensation on account of the death of her husband through accident at the Otira tunnel. Counsel on behalf of the Crown consented to judgment for £500 and medical and funeral expenses. Judgment was entered accordingly.
