NORTHERN HOSPITALS.
A DIVISION WAITED. (By Telegraph.—Own Corresponflent.) WHAXGARKI, this day. There was further evidence at the meeting of the Marsden-Kaipara Hospital Board that its members are an unhappy family. The position is attributable to the fact that there appears to be little or no community of interest between the districts of Whangatei; Otamatea, and Wairoa. This was apparent in the block vote from Northern Wairoa members against additions to the Wbangarei Hospital. The sequel was that on Saturday the representatives decided to take necessary steps to endeavour to divide the present hospital area, which they regard as cumbersome and unwieldy, with the object" of placing the Wairoa. institution under separato control.
