MARRIED WOMAN DROWNED.
DISAPPEARS FROM A BRIDGE. 'I'.y Teleirraph.—rrn-n Correspondent.) HAMILTON", this day. A sad drowning accident occurred at 5.30 last, night, a young married woman t Mrs. Corneiile) disappearing from the footway adjoining the railway bridge. At that time two men who passed along the footway saw her leaning over the handrail, looking into the water. Another man named .Vountney. coming along a little later, fonnd a woman's hat and coat on the footway, and no sign of the owner. 'Mrs. Corneiile was the vrife of a settler at Te Mata. She had been in bad health for some time, and had been boarding in Hamilton. It is presumed that she started out with the intention of visiting a young daughter living in the convent at Hamilton, and that she was on her way there when the fatality occurred. While investigating this occurrence today the police discovered the dead body of Paxton. who suicided a fortnight ago, hung up in the willow below the HamilHotel. .
