A rumour has been current that il. Hobos was under orders to tafce Mowbray and Klnaldo to Sydney in the spring. It transpires, however, that Hobbs is left with a free hand, and he has come to no decisioa yet.

Thursday morning saw a fairly interesting pi«-e of schooling over four flights of hurdles between Ccrric (R. Wilson). Terry Klynn (E. Murtittl. Otehau I Douglas*, and Buster is. MurflttP. in which Terry Flynn and Otehau showed to most advantage. •On the samp morning Kingsway (Douglas) and Evenlode (T. O'Connor* gave a satisfactory display over the big fences.
