LAWN TENNIS.
AUCKLAND TESmSedJOB. , The annual meeting- of -the members of the Ancikland Lawn Tenuis Club was held recently. Mr. Milnes being in the chair. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. Incorporated in the report was a reference to the Jack of funds, and it was unanimously agreed that a levy of 5/ he made upon the men, and 2/6 upon the lady members of the club. A large number of subscriptions were received In the room. The following officers were duly elected: President, Mr. Arttmr Myers, M~P.; vicepresidents. Messrs. Mporte. Parr, ami Bush; hoi. secretary. Mr. G. E. Matthews; hon. treasurer and s"<und superintendent, Mr. H. A. Milnes; men's committee, Messrs. H. SneUing, Weteter, Jowitt Wilson and Valle; Inlies* committee, Mesdames Beer and MnHlicwi, and Missea Woodroffe, Mosee, Beebsn, and Alddn; delegates, Messrs. H. SnHTlng and H. Andrew. It was TinanlmonEly ngicwl to instruct the delegates to support Syfces' bulls at the Association meeting. The committee were empowered to control affairs in connection with, the membership. Special votes of tlumfcs were passed to Mr. Wilson, the retiring secretary, and to Mr. H. A. Milnes, for their valuable services to the club. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chairman.
