The Union Co.'s tramp cargo carri.r Waihora arrived at Auckland early yesterday morning from Calcutta via Singapore Samarang, and Sydney, and was berthea at "O " Queen Street wbarf. Owe vessel left Calcutta on April 13, Singapore April 22, and Samarang on April 27. She arrived at Sydney on May 15, and left four days later for Auckland. Fine weather was experienced until May 10, when tbe vessel encountered a strong south-easterly gale which continued on the run down the Australian coast. After discharge of Eastern cargo here the vessel is to go to Wellington Lyttelton, and Dunedin, to put out the balance. CABLE STEAMER IRIS. RIVERINA FOR AUCKLAND. The Huddart-Parker Company's steamer Riverina, which is to enter the AucklandSyduey ferry service, is due back at Sydney from Western Australian ports to-day. She is to withdraw from the service and to undergo overhaul preparatory to entering the new service. The Zealandia. which has been on the lay-up berth in Sydney for some time, will take up the Riverina's running on Saturday next- It is expected that the Riverina will commence her running to Auckland about the beginning of August. Tbe United Tyser steamer Courtfleld arrived at Auckland from . New York and Australian ports early this morning, and was berthed at daylight at E. Quern Street wharf. The vessel came down to Auckland from New York, via Capetown, Melbourne, and Sydney. Fine weather was experienced throughout the passage.
