LATE RACING.

•JUMPING AT ELLERSLdE. With the approach of the A.R.C. Winter Meeting, trainers are giving their charges plenty of schooling exerciee at Bllerslie, and a. fair, amount of jumping was witnessed this morning. Vie, Virtue, and Irish Maid were schooled over five hurdles, the trio finishing together, Irish 3laid Jumping much better than in her previous displays. liUros, alone, jumped the big hurdles in good style. Cloudy Dawn, after jumping the pony hurdles, was popped over one of the bigger hurdles, fencing well.

Adherent and Hunakaha started below the sod wall, and jumped that obstacle, the double, and stone wall, then the three hurdles along tho back, coming down over the hlg fencen. again. Both fenced well, although Adherent Jumped a bit big.

Mannwcra, W'ateuchain. and Rorimi were companions over live hurdles. At the fence by the sod wall the last-named came to grief, his rider,' McFlinu. escaping with a shaking. The other pair fenced well.

Webfoot, Captain Jack. Oliver Twist. and Slaney were companions in a round of the bis country, going over the hill. Sphinx joined in and jumped the fences on the flat, hut was then pnlled off. Slavey ran off. at the water, and jumped the second fence of the double, but afterwards fenced well, as did h.'e companions. Webfoot finished In front of Captain Jack, with Oliver Twist next, a<nA Slaney. which was ver» tired, last.

Lloyds and Pal were schooled over half-a-dozen hurdles, both jumping well.

Okalbuu and Armagh were sent a round of the big country, going over the bill. Both fenced in good style, Okaihau in particular pleasing.
