GUESTS AT THE NORTHERN CLUB.
HIS EXCELLENCY ENTERTAINED. The conversazione given laet night to hie Excellency the Governor and the Counters of Liverpool by the members of the Northern Club was brilliantly successful, and the guests, to the,number of over 360,. enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Among those present were Captain Halsey and other officers of the Ne-w Zealand... The club w-ae then thrown and in an elaborate scheme of, decoration palace and graceful ferns predominated.
