SYDNEY, May 5. The High Court has commenced the hea-ring of the Government's appeal against the Supreme Court's decision in regard to the "eviction" of Lord Denmau from Sydney Government House.

BRISBANE. May 5. A Cingalese named Charlie Dcen was executed to-day for the murder of a. countryman named Peter Dinch, at Tnnisfail, on February 1. Death was instantaneous.
