A TERRIBLE VOYAGE

BARQUE'S DESPERATE PLIGHT. MASTER ANX> MATE DEAD. (By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright) FKEMANTLE, May 5. A boat containing four sick and famished men has arrived at Dongarra (250 miles north of Ferth) from the Norwegian ship Victor, which was hound from Delagoa Bay to New Caledonia, and v/hich, when they left her, was 40 miles off the coast, in a practically abandoned condition.
Disease had broken out on hoard the ship, and she was short of provisions. The men asked for assistance in navigating tho ship to port.
Shortly after leaving Dplagoa Bay the Victor ran into a storm, and was damaged. Disease broke out, and the captain and chief officer died on April 8. Two members of the crew died on April 10, and others died later.
Food ran short some time before the vessel made the West Australian coast, and those remaining on board were too few and too weak to navigate the ship. Assistance has been sent as desired.
