COMMONWEALTH OIL DUTY.
(Received 0.15 a.m.) LONDON, May 5. The London debenture holders of the Commonwealth Oil Corporation Company have approved the scheme for reconstruction. Mr Whinncy, one of the directors, stated that political leaders in Australia hj.d promised substantial support, and he had groiinds for believing * hat the Australian Government would give the Corporation further protection in the near future.
