FIRE AT PARNELL.
A fire broke out at about 10 o'clock last night in the premises occupied by the Neuchatel Asphalt Company in Stanley Street, Parnell. The City Fire Brigade turned out and quelled the outbreak before it reached serious dimensions. Damage to the extent of some hundreds of pounds' was done, two valuable motors being amongst the destroyed matter. The contents of the building are insured in the Commercial Union Company for £430.
