HUNTING.
PAKURAXGA HUNT CLUB. A GOOD DAY'S SPOUT. After a onple of days - bunting at Waiuku, the raknninga Hunt Club held its first hunt In Auckland for the scasou on Saturday, the hounds meeting at Nixon's Moimrucut Otahuhu. Notwlihstauding the bud weather, there was a large attendance of followers. The cast was made on Mr. Masscy's property, and a strong hare was found, which gave a good run. through Mr. Isaac Cirey'H farm, across the road into Mr. Fred. Martin's gromuiti, then through the swamp into Wyllle's property. I'uss then doubled buck into the paddocks behind Martin's house, and was killed in the open. After a short rewt, the inu-k again moved off into Mr. Isaac (irey's properly, and the rushes behind the house were drawn. An exceptionally strong hare was found, which gave a good run. eventually escaping.
