THAMES DEEP LEVELS.

'Mr. D. Downee has signed tbe specifications for the completion of the deeplevel crosscut at I,oooft, and will start work to-night. It will .be remembered that in 1905 bore holes were put down near the boundary of the Kuranui-Cale-donian mine, and the results went to prove that the class of Coventry at 1,034 ft from the surface was sneb. *a to ensure rich ore being secured if systematically prospected.
