Birkenhead:— "In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908 and amendments, and the New Zealand State-Guaranteed Advances Act, 3900, and amendments, and all other powers enabling it, the Birkenhead Borough Council hereby resolves by wny of Special Order,' as follows:— "That the Loan of £24,880, raised by the Body Corporate of the Mayor, CounclllorK, and Burgesses of the Borough of Birbenhead (called the Birkenhead Borough Council) being insufficient to complete the Borough Waterworks and Road Improvements for which such Loan was raised, the Blrkenbead Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of an additional Loan of £2,488 (being ten per centum additional on the above mentioned Loan) at 4} per cent, for the purpose of completing the said Borough Waterworks and Road Improvements."
