AUCKLAND GOLF CLUB. : There was a large muster at the Middlemore links oa Saturday, when the season was formally opened. The weather was fine and tbc links In splendid order, the golf being very interesting. The foursomes resulted in Miss J. Richmond and W. A. "Carrick winning with a net score of 81, their rounil of OS being the best of the day. Other cards handed in were:—Ms and Mrs. T. Lawrence, 107—25—82; Mr. and Mrs D. OPENING OF THE SEASON, The Maungakiekie Golf Club opened its season on Saturday, wheu mixed foursomes were played.
