Piper, Railway Traffic Sttpcx-iritendr-nt, ]c at present in Auckland, slaying at Cargon. : ' Mr Henry Blundell, formerly in the Treasury, will be leaving Auckland for England next Friday by the P. and O. steamer Macedonia. Mr. S. Moore, Inspector of Physical Education, leaves for Wellington tonight to attend a $taff school. He will "he absent about three weeks. Their Excellent-its the Governor and CWniess of Liverpool, together with their suite, will be present at Mr Kirty's song recital next Monday evening, at the Town Ha.IL Among the arrivale by the ilitheno yesterday, who are staying at the Grand Hotel, were Mr and Mrs Sydney Jebb, visitors from London, and' Mr Graves Burto-n, of Johannesburg. Sir Maurice OTEtorke has been re-elect-ed unopposed .to a seat on the Auckland Grammar School Board of Governors as a representative selected by the Auckland provincial members of the legislature. The Board includes three members representing the legislative interest, the other two being Professor F. D. Brown (elected in 1911) and Mr. A. Kidd (elected in 1012). ' The Hon. H. D. Bell, Minister of Internal Affaire, Acting Minister of Education, and Leader of the Legislative returned on Saturday evening from a visit to hie son. in the Northern Wairoa. He was the guest of the Reform Club on Saturday night, a.nd delivered a ehort addreeeto the members. Mr Bell left for Wellington by last Bight's Main Inink train, accompanied I>£ bis fihate secretary, Mr W. J. Black.
