BIBLE IN STATE SCHOOLS.
A meeting to constitute a branch of tue League for the Dominion Road district was held in St. Alb'an's Parish Hall, Jit. Roskill the Rev. H. B. Wingneld presiding The Key. A. Miller explained the objects of the League, mid the following were elected as ofiicers of the. local brunch-— President. Rev. H. B. Wing Hel- vice-pre-sident. Rev. A. Miller; secretary, Mr. George Henson. Oxton "'lloiul, Kdemlnlo: treasurer, Mr. Blackwell: aiul a committee consisting of Mr. Conioford and two representatives from the Anglican and Presbyterian churches. At the same time a branch q£ the Women's League was constituted, with officers as follow:—President, Mrs. John Cook; vice-presidents, Mies Hopper and Miss Darisr secretary, Mrs. Fowles, Ranui Balmoral Road; treasurer, Miss C.
