KILKENNY IN SLIGO.
HEADS BROKEN IN RIOTS. . LONDON, April 2. The rioting at Sligo, where the striking quay-labourers came into conflict on Thursday with the free labour sent over from Liverpool, continued yesterday. The melee became so serious that the police had to charge with batons drawn, and five of the combatants were removed to hospital. A sergeant and a constable were laid out, and were taken away in an unconscious condition.
