MRS SCOTT'S EXPECTATIONS. (Received 11.15 a-m.) SAN FRANCISCO, February 11. Before leaving here Mrs Scott said that she expected her husband would succeed in his quest. She hoped to meet him in ono of New Zealand's southerly ports. o She added that Captain Scott was sure to suffer bitter disappointment when he found that Captain Amundsen had reached the Pole first: but her husband was a good sailor, and would not begrudge for a moment another's victory.
