SYDNEY. February 7. The Trumper benefit match opened today in pleasant weather. The wicket was good. The attendance reached R.OOO. The Rest of Australia battrd first. making 350 for nine wickets. The principal scorers were: Mayne 40, Hill 06. Ransford 38, Moxes 76, Cody 42. and Ryder 38.
