RUSSIAN MURDER PLOT

AGAINST AUSTRIAN PRINCE.

ST. PETERSBURG. February 7. A plot was discovered by which an attempt was to have been made on the life of Prince Gottfried of Hohenlohe wlio eaine to St. Petersburg three days ago to deliver a letter to the Czar from the Emperor Francis Josef of Austria. The letter dwelt upon the relations between the two countrirs. and was an important international dorun'cnt.

Investigations by the police revealed the fact that a committee consisting of anarchists, elected from a society known as the "Union of the Russian People." had the plans in hand for the Prince's murder.

The police found out. however, where the committee held its meetings, and to-day the buildine was raided, and the whole of the members of the committee v.-ere arrested.
