An interesting function took place at the Auckland City Fire Brigade's quarters last evening, when Mr. J. 6pencer, ■who is retiring after 21 years' service with the brigade, was presented, with a marble clock, on behalf of the members. A silver tea-pot was also presented to Mrs. Spencer. The presentatian was made by WHsqii.
