A WIN FOR VICTORIA.

(Received 10.5 a.m.) BRISBANE, this day. The match between Victoria and Queensland was concluded to-day on an excellent wicket. Queensland's second innings closed for 144, Sheppard making 45 and Law 50 (not out). Armstrong took five for 48 and Brown three for 35. Victoria won by six wickets, their second innings score being four for 223 Armstrong 33, and E. V. Cairoll 90 (not out). Cook took two for 25, Oxenham one for 16, Law one for 12.
