DIVINITY STUDENTS SUICIDE.
CAUSED BY WORRY. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) . DUNEDIN, this day. Richard Goff, a divinity student, committed suicide at Koxburgh yesterday !by shooting himself. It appears that Goff struck his head against a rock while bathing al>out five iveeks ago, and it is thought hy the doctor who attended him that this may have affected his mind. Goff was 22 years of age. His parents reside in Now South Wales. Most of those who knew deceased, incline to the belief that worry was the cause of suicide, having noticed tjiat Ooff was nervously anxious about his clerical duties and distrustful of his own , efforts. j The weapon used did not belong to diseased. ■Hβ was found dead in tha manse. i The congregation had assembled for morning seryice before GofFs death was discovered. Deceased was relieving the Rev. Mr. Chandler, who is absent on leave. He j was 22 yeaTs of age.
