AN ULSTER WARNING.
DISORDER AND BLOODSHED. THE GOVERNMENTS GUILT. LONDON, February 1. The Lister Unionist Council at Belfast has warned the Government that in forcing Home Rule upon an unwilling peoplr- it has incurred the guilt of 211 the consequences, including disorder and bloodshed, which, the council says, are certain to result.
In the couree of a speech on the Home Rule Bill last week, the Deputy-Lieu-tenant, of the County Tyrone eaid:—"lf b\- any mischance Home Eule ir> forced upon lie we in Ulster wall have another alternative which we mean .to use, and that is to protect ourselves. We will rake th-e law into our own hand?. In North Tyrone we have 15 Unionist clube that are very much alivf. ■Wγ are going through the drudgery of drill, and are being taught the use of armts,« and nvp are ready to obey commanders. When the time comes we will defend our country to the death should the necessity arisp. The Nationalists taunt us by'saying that Ulcstor'o reeus-tanco is brae and bluster. <V\> mean to chow them thai it is a stern reality."
