GARIBALDIANS LOSE HEAVTLY,

ATfrKNS, December 20.

The check sustained by ihe Ga.ribaldian legiou when it lost all its officers and 400 of its men were killed or wounded caused the rumour as to the Turkish victory at Janina. Some 30,000 Turks are bravely fighting there.

Bazani. near Janina, on which thu Greeks are marching, i? still uncaptured. There have been heavy losses on both sides.

Lieutenant Musuris, an aviator, flew over Janina aiul dropped some bombs. Turkish bullets pentrated the wing of the machine, but Lieutenant Musuris returned safely to camp.
