EXHIBITION AMUSEMENTS.
" WONTJERDAND " ACQUIRED.
A feature of Auckland's big exhibition next year will be the amusements, and an important announcement made by Mr. Bris Doyle, who has the eo-.ra.et to supply the whole of the amusement programme, is that he has secured the whole of the "Wonderland" equipment which formed such a big attraction at the <_rhr-_-t<"...urch e_rh-ibition. The fact that what constituted pradtJcaJly the whole of the side shows at Christchureh is to form only a part of the Auckland scheme, should serve to indicate bow ambitious Mr. Doyle's syndicnte really is. At the end of the present mon— Mr. Doyle leaves for England and America in search of further attractions. 'Ihe " Wonderland " plant has been purchased at a cost of £3.250. and represents a parfcic—surly good bargain on the part of tbe sy-ndk—te, for it w_; originally equipped at a cost of over £20,000. It includes an electric light and power plant, which alone is considered t>o be worth the money paid for it by the syndicate, and will provide sufficient light and power for the requirement of the whole exhibition. The attractions include a remarkably fine water chute, a large toboggan, miniature railway, and a fioorre of other unique features. Afteithe C3iristchurc.h exhibition, " Wonderland" was installed at Miramacr, in Wellington, and proved a big attraction in the Southern city. In commenting on the purchase to a " Star " representative this morning, Mr. Doyle remarked: "We are going to excel Cr-ristchurch exliibitaon, for, as you see, we have secured, in one pop, ChnistchuTch's greatest attraction, and it is only to be part of out show."
