PAPAROA JUBILEE.

Mr. W. Eastwood Jackman (cttairman of the Otamatea County Council) waited upon the Prime Minister this moraine ajid explaaned to Mr. W. F. Massey that ft will be fifty years nest December since the first land sate took place at Paparoa. It is proposed to have a big gathering on the date of the jobilee, and Mr. Jackman said it was parrticularly desired that the Premier should be present. Mr. Slassev expressed his regret that his engagements rendered il impossible for hjm°to visit Paparoa before next Jannarv. The Prime Minister, however, promised to communicate later with Mr. Jackman a definite date when he can visit Paparoa
