STIRRING UP THE AFRIDIS.
MISCHIEF-MAKERS AT WORK. LONDON, October 9. Mischief-makers are attempting to foment trouble among the Afridis, the powerful Pathan tribe occupying the billy country about the Khyber Pass, in Afghanistan. The British Commissioner on the frontier is summoning a jirgahs' conference art Peshawar for the purpose of exposing the falsehoods circulated by those -HSho have been trying to bring about a revolt among the Afridis.
