STRIKE RIOTS IN LAWRENCE.
KNIVES AND CLUBS USED. TWO CONSTABLES STABBED. NEW YORK, September 30. As a result of three workers being sent to gaol on a charge of killing two men during a rat strike at g., ____ Boston, the Industrial Workers of the World, without permission, paraded the streets of Lawrence (Massachusetts). The police interfered, and a fight with knives and clubs ensued. Two constables were stabbed. Three of the Industrial Workers, including the leader, were arrested. A mob interposed and freed the leader. STREET FIGHTING RENEWED.
