A *ad fatality occurred at Stonehenge to-day during aerial manoeuvres. Captain P. Hamilton, of the Worcestershire Regiment, and Ijeut. Wynes Stewart, were flying in a Dippcrdussin monoplane, wlwn at a height of 1000 ft the machine developed a defect. Deprived of its motive power, the machine e-topped, turned turtle, and fell to earth, the petrol tank exploding during the fall.

The monoplane and iU passengers crashed into a tree, where the machine was smashed to atoms, the tangled masses of its parts overhanging the hedges alongside the tree.
