AMERICAN CROOKS.
SYDNEY GANG- INCREASED. (Received 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. It is stated that the American crooks gang is being augmented on the arrival of each steamer. It is thought that the latest addition is a desperado who escaped from New York Central Prison in July, after firing several shots. He is a member of the "Dusters" organisation, as the bag-snatchers are called.
