At the Hamilton Supreme Court today, Wm. Brewer, upon several convictions for horse stealing and false pretences, was sentenced to 12 months' hard labour, and ordered two years' reformative treatment, his Honor stating that on his next appearance lie -would be treated as an habitual criminal.
