COMMERCIAL TRAVELLER'S TROUBLE?. The liabilities in th:- estate of Frank . Fraser, a bankrupt., are set down at £268 0/5, and the assets nil. In his tatement to the Official Assignee the debtor states that about August, 1910, ie joined the Southern Sales, Limited, Wellington, to represent them in one of heir propositions, viz., New Zealand "eterinary Supply Co., on commission of a per cent, out of which he was to pay .11 expenses. In March, 1911, he gave up he agency as. according to their stateaents, lie *as getting too far behind. Ie -was confined to his bed som6 two or hree weeks, and was compelled to get nto debt. His wife was in a delicate tate of health. About May, 1911, he anted a billiard room at Ponaonby Club lot°i at 15/ per week, but found it imlossible to make a living wag?. Aftervards he was in Mr. J. Anderson's ialoon at a salary of £2 5/ per week, ater increased to £2 10/. In November, 1911, he joined Bewlpy and Fraser, Ltd., >n commission, and in January, 1912, mtered into an agreement to receive £3 >er week, which he drew until March, 1912, when, owing to meeting with an iccident, breaking his right hand in three jlaces and his right shoulder, his salary •.eased for three months. He was unable .0 follow his occupation for four and aialf months, when he entered into a new igreeraent at £2 10/ per week, which sum he was still receiving. He had to support a wife and two children and pay ill his own tram fares, etc, in connection with, his business. His reasons for petitioning were his inability to pay any moneys, and also that some creditors were pushing him.
